David Gerspach

gerspachDavid Gerspach has over 20 years of experience in secondary education. He has worked as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, department chairperson, and teacher mentor. A New York State Master Teacher, his expertise include student – centered classrooms, curriculum alignment, and data driven instruction. In addition to classroom experiences, David is an accomplished hockey coach and father of two.

Nilam Yagielski

yagielskiOver the past 15 years, Nilam Yagielski has had a broad range of experiences as a teacher and instructional coach. A New York State Master Teacher, Nilam has experience teaching all levels of mathematics at the high school level from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. She is an adjunct instructor at Buffalo State College, and has provided professional development for many local districts, and presented at both local and regional conferences.

Mary Bieger

Mary Bieger began her career as an educator in the Ken-Ton school district as a classroom teacher in 2000.  After 13 years of teaching Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grade, she spent several years offering academic intervention services in Math and Reading to K-5 students.  She is currently in her third year as an Instructional Support Specialist, working as an Instructional Coach and serving as the Elementary RtI Coordinator for the school district.  In addition to her work in Ken-Ton, Mary worked as a music teacher at Rolly Pollies, and is currently in her third year as Parliamentarian on the Williamsville School Board of Education.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from State University of New York College at Cortland, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from State University of New York at Buffalo.  

James Brennan

James Brennan has over 20 years of experience in elementary education, spending his first 16 years teaching multiple grade levels. Most recently, James has worked as a mathematics coach for grades K-5. He brings vast experience in curriculum work, assessment writing, planning and facilitating professional development and instructional and content coaching. Jim understands the realities of today’s classroom and supports teachers across the area in creating high-quality math experiences for every child.

Molly Di Pirro

Molly DiPirro has over 20 years of Elementary teaching experience in grades K-5. She is currently a Mathematics coach, a professional developer, a building leader and a teacher mentor. She has been a teacher trainer for a national mathematics program as well as an Adjunct Professor in Elementary Mathematics.

 

 

 

 

Frank LiCausi

Frank LiCausi has over 20 years of experience in elementary education. Currently, Frank is working as a mathematics coach for grades K-5. He brings vast experience in curriculum work, assessment writing, planning and facilitating professional development and instructional/content coaching. Frank works to develop the capacity of teachers on a daily basis and supports teachers across grade levels in creating student-centered math experiences for all children.

 

 

Katina Mescall

Katina Mescall is a middle school specialist with over 20 years of experience.  She has worked as an instructional coach, classroom teacher, and interventionist. Katina has vast experience in developing a coaching model that incorporated peer collaboration as in integral part of school culture.  Currently, Katina is developing an alternative program for at-risk students that incorporates remediation and instruction within the school day.
